Mommy & Me (0-2 Months)
Join a group of new moms at our Mommy and Me Classes in Franklin who gave birth the same time as you. The newborn phase is a very delicate, sensitive and fragile time for moms. According to the Penn Medicine, “the fourth trimester is a months long stage of life. Make sure to keep checking in and offering your support even after the initial newborn days of motherhood.” The Mommy and Me Classes in Franklin help moms lower their chances of having postpartum depression and anxiety by being supported and heard. Come and share your birth story, ask your questions on what is “normal” and be validated in your feelings. Learn about the different topics of raising a newborn with experts in the field. Our Mommy and Me Classes in Franklin is your safe place to connect with other moms during the incredible and challenging time.

Mindfulness and Stress Management – Coping with challenges of motherhood and postpartum depression/anxiety
Relationships After Baby – counseling to help your relationship with your partner thrive in this overwhelming time
Breastfeeding and Formula Feeding 101 – All about nursing, making the decision to formula feed if needed, and tips and tricks from a lactation and feeding consultant
Intimacy After Baby & Pelvic Floor Health with a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

Each class is organized by babies’ birth months
8 week class series
Class is led by certified instructors, speech and language pathologist, clinical psychologist, occupational therapist, lactation consultants and more.
Small class – max. 13 moms per class
Class is 120 minutes long

Two organized socials. A planned Mom’s Day/Night Out, and a Family Playdate. The dates are chosen by the majority of the mom’s availability and calendar.
Access to attend free events like playdates, walks, and park playdates
Exclusive access to all The Southern School for Moms Events such as (e.g. Paint Night Outs, Holiday Get Togethers, Mommy and Me Photoshoots, Park Playdates, Community Collaborations, Moms Night out Dinners and more) *some come at an additional cost
