MEET THE OWNER

Jillian is the owner of The Southern School for Moms and a newborn care specialist. She is a mother of two, a daughter and a son. Before becoming a mom, Jillian worked in the pediatric nonprofit sector and the public school system. Jillian worked with students with disabilities by providing them with the one-on-one attention they needed to thrive. Jillian always knew she wanted to have a career helping children and families. Once becoming a mother, she started training to become a newborn care specialist and also trained in many subtopics.

After having her daughter, Jillian realized the pressures and struggles mothers go through. With going through postpartum depression herself, Jillian found her calling for helping other mothers get the support they deserve and need.

There is a big gap in the postpartum world where oftentimes the woman is over looked about after the baby arrives, despite the huge physical, emotional and mental changes they are going through. Jillian believes that when the mother is taken care of and confident in their parenting, the whole family flourishes. No woman should go through the postpartum journey alone. Jillian’s mission is to provide mothers with the education and support they need so they can be the best version of themselves.

Thank You!
